Ronceverte Elementary students in all grade levels created 3D masterpieces out of construction paper involving different colors and shapes that corresponded to a set of instructions related to individual character traits. The goal was to create artwork that reflected distinct information about each student.
Each student was given a guide with the various types of formations and colors as they related to certain criteria. For example, a yellow zigzag meant pizza was a favorite food; a blue arch for those who like chocolate ice cream, and a purple spiral for students who LOVE art class!
The fourth grade artwork shown is in front of Ms. Ford's theme of "Climbing Mountains" encouraging students to grow and flourish. Mrs. Carmen Ball, our new art teacher, introduced this activity as a way to get to know each other while expressing the unique individuality in each student. She is doing amazing work with our students, and we are very grateful to have her join our Ronceverte Bulldog staff!
